Platform optimizations surrounding XREAL’s first Android XR glasses are almost as expensive as a Galaxy S26 Ultra bring tangible stability and performance refinements to operating systems. XREAL has announced pricing and availability for the Aura Android XR glasses, and they definitely don't come cheap. These updates aim to streamline daily workflows, address kernel regressions, and refine power scheduling.
Technically, modern OS releases prioritize background task scheduling, memory compaction, and hardware security enhancements. These refinements minimize battery draw on portable hardware while delivering fluid transitions across multitasking workflows.
Before performing major system updates, verifying critical data backups and ensuring battery reserves are sufficient provides a reliable, uninterrupted transition.
